# Managing Model Files

Part of the modeling process is trial and error, sometimes you want to experiment or compare model versions. Ai-OPs understands this, so we’ve made it easy to hot swap different file versions. In a [model’s detail](/v1/docs/model-detail-1) view, go to the File tab.

### Model File List

Under this tab you will see a list of all versions of this model’s file that have been uploaded The active file is shown with a green brain icon.

Active model file

These contain a unique version tag assigned in a syntax the user would like to use, as well as a note to help you remember what changed or how it reacted. Using the ellipses on the model file you can do the following actions.

#### Select

Sets this file as the current file to be executed.

#### Modify

Allows you to change the file version tag or note.

#### Download

Downloads a copy of the model file to your browser.

#### Delete

Removes the file from this model.
